Engineering World Health’s final engineering skills workshop is here! Ever wondered how to take your first steps into the fascinating world of 3D printing? Or maybe you’re already an expert and you’re wondering what your next project should be? Our workshop “3D Printing for the Global Community” is presented by a professional in the field of 3D printing, Taurus 3D. The workshop will consist of an hour of theory and possibilities session followed by a hands-on session where you will work in a group to design a device (one per group) that solves a problem current patients have with day-to-day tasks. 3D printing machines and design software will be provided. These devices could be used by real patients and may be printed in Ghana hospitals in the summer of 2017 and help real people! So take some time out of your busy schedules and come learn about how 3D printing is impacting the medical device field. Space is limited, so get your ticket today!
